SWIMMING POOL FENCE

Our Pool Fence Panel meets US B.O.C.A. Product Safety Commission Guidelines for home pool fence (PDF) with pickets spaced 4 in. on center and no mid-rail (for non-climb construction). The pool fence panel also features a smooth rail across the top. Panel is 8 ft. wide by 4' 11" tall un-hung. The panel and posts are constructed of steel and are Hot Dipped Galvanized (HDG) with a baked on powder coat finish for maximum life span around pools and wet areas. Recommended posts for the pool fence panels are 2 in. x 8 ft. 10 in. HDG steel posts (not included). Also available are 2.5 in. x 8 ft. 10 in. posts (larger size suggested for corner posts for strength and aesthetics). Pricing is based on quantity ordered. Matching pool gate for foot traffic is designed with same standards and specs as the pool fence panels, with safety and durability in mind. The Pool Gate is Hot Dipped Galvanized and powder coated black. Pool Gate includes Self-closing Tru-Close hinges and a child-resistant Magna Latch. See Pool Gate page for more information.

We design and manufacture our Swimming Pool Fence Brackets for ease of installation and a very clean look. Most other pool fence panels attach with wrap around the post brackets which detract from an old world wrought iron look. Our slip brackets are hardly seen in the finished fence.

All brackets are powder coated steel and attach to the post with self tapping screws (not included). Enough brackets are included with every fence panel ordered.

The swivel brackets are used to connect pool fence panel to post when the fence line is curved. This allows the fence panel to be installed in a different direction from the preceeding panel.

WHY NOT USE ALUMINUM FENCE FOR YOUR POOL FENCE?

While aluminum fence has become popular for property enclosures due to its corrosion resistance and weight, steel is a stronger alternative. With a chemically bonded powder coated finish and zinc phosphate undercoat, a steel fence panel will outlast an aluminum panel. By using steel construction, we are able provide 8 ft widths without sag under weight or stress. This allows for fewer post holes and less labor!

POOL FENCE PANEL DETAILS & FENCE POSTS

The swimming pool fence panels are 8 ft. wide x 5 ft. high with pickets 4 in. on center. Fence construction material is steel with a zinc phosphate undercoat and a baked on Black powder coat finish. The panels have square tube frame members that are center punched for through picket construction. All joints are welded. All fence panels come with universal mounting brackets designed make installation a snap. Fence posts are 2 in. or 2 1/2 in. square x 8 ft. 10 in. Posts are ordered separately.

A wrought iron fence look is captured in our steel pool fence styles. We have been working with steel for 15 years and continue to be impressed by it's strength and usability. True wrought iron fence has become more rare due to high labor costs and the maintenance required to preserve its life span. Our fence panels offer the wrought iron fence look without the fuss or the higher cost.

SWIMMING POOL FENCE INSTALLATION

Our fence panels are designed to be installed by a Do-It-Yourselfer on the weekend or a professional contractor. Simply set our posts in concrete 8 ft. apart, slip the mounting brackets into the horizontal frame at the ends and tap screw into the steel post. For pool fence to be installed to code, we recommend a professional installer. Fence panels also mount easily to masonry pillars or other suitable mounting surfaces. Fence Panels can be ordered with a Hot Dipped Galvanized undercoat with powder coat finish. (Standard for Pool Fence)
